By stimulating individuals in organizatios to act as free, almost anarchic thinkers and innovators, as artist do, new solutions open up which can help contribute to a more innovative organization.
De-imaging
Freeing yourself from perceived fixed images about the world lets you communicate with realities that you could not ‘see’ before. These possibilities can be made concrete on the (at first) empty canvas of the painter. De-imaging leads to an in-depth communication with reality, which is not possible in any ‘other’ way. When managing or thinking about organizations, free yourself from the predetermined standard that dictates action. Be inspired by abstract art and distance yourself from how it is and how it should be, according to preconceived notions.”
