Lyrical Subway Map
“This project was about Poetry and the experimental way of making books. Are there new ways or possibilities of showing text. How can language form your publication. What kind of pictures are created by language and what kind of language creates them? I took ten poems about New York and put them on a empty subway map. Following some simple rules every single poem, represented by a track searched for his own way. So the appearance of this “lyrical subway map” is hardly affected by its poems and could be read as a ordinary plan or you can follow each single poem along the track to find its characteristics.
