Title Quote: Rilke, “What Birds Plunge Through Is Not the Intimate Space”
My interests arise from the boundary between what we call natural and
artificial. I observe the physical and social environment in detail, to
find hidden beauty and peculiarity– things such as a cell phone
antenna in the shape of a pine tree, birds that are not native to the
area, or moss growing in a crack of cement sidewalk. -Misako Inaoka
“The tableware “CMYK” converts failures and
adversities that happen in everyday life into a poetic moment. It consist
of a coloured ceramic that is covert by a white glaze. If the tableware
breaks due to daily usage, the colour in the inside occurs. Due this patina
the tableware can develop a personal meaning for the user.”

Dragana’s clothing could never be considered simple, although it is subtle. It is far from elaborate, yet cleverly thought out. It is an imaginative mix of the landscape of her native Yugoslavia and the sophistication of big cities: A melting of both of the worlds she now inhabits.” -Dragana Perisic (site)
